MEIKO hasn't always been my favourite vocaloid. In fact, for a very long time, Len was my favourite. Then, later, KAITO, and later than that, Luka. I don't remember when or why MEIKO became my favourite. Maybe while playing Project Sekai, I became enamoured with her? Because I sure as hell am now!! She's like a digital queen as opposed to an electric angel, a more mature and sultry counterpart to Miku's bright-eyed charm. A fun fact about her is she is the first Japanese vocal released for the VOCALOID engine! She was initially released in November 2004, as one of the 4 known "Project Daisy" vocals alongside Lola, Leon and Miriam. KAITO would be released two years later in 2006. I was born in 2006, too...! MEIKO is older than ME!

	NAME: Nendoroid (#187) TYPE: Nendoroid MANUFACTURER: Good Smile Company ARTIST: Ageta Yukiwo RATING: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the first figure in my collection. i got her in 2023 for christmas, and she brings me so much joy!!!! she's absolutely adorable, and i plan to buy the rest of her nendoroids (V3, V3 doll and the petits).

	NAME: Hatsune Miku Series Secret Wonderland Collection TYPE: Blind Box MANUFACTURER: Re-Ment ARTIST: Unknown RATING: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i love alice in wonderland themed things, and MEIKO as the queen of hearts is so perfect. i actually pulled the luka from this when i bought the blind box in japan, but when my friend bought one a few months later, she got MEIKO. so we traded! yay!!
